Aid for Education

Trustees from Aid for Education will be giving a talk on their work in Rwanda. The organisation works with a local charity, supporting children who are unable to access education or medical treatment, building houses and helping families earn an income through their goat rearing project and farming co-operative. The co-operative is their most recent project whose aim is to enable women to earn an income that will benefit their families and increase food security & nutritional variety for the community.

Pantara Charity Project

Spend some time in the great outdoors with these kids from Al-Andalusia Among various activities that we did, there was this one particular activity where the kids had to write and/or illustrate our dreams (where we wanted to go in life, etc) in this so-called « dream board » Even though you might not be able to see it clearly in the picture, it was really refreshing to read what they wrote/illustrated, from simply wanting to go to Seaworld to see the fishes, to climbing Mount Semeru, visiting the Eiffel Tower and – what most of them wrote – being able to take their parents to Mecca to visit the holy Kaaba, So inspired by how selfless yet motivated and driven these kids are!

Run The Runway 2016

Take off for a morning run at the annual Run the Runway 5k/10k and Kids 1 Mile Mascot Dash (featuring your Arizona Sports Team Mascots that may include; Sun’s Gorilla, Coyote’s Howler, Cardinal’s Big Red, Sun Devil’s Sparky and Diamondback’s Baxter), benefiting Playworks Arizona.
Participants will run on the Scottsdale Airport runway while being surrounded by beautiful planes and entertainment along this one of a kind route. Post-race festival will include bounce inflatables, DJ, vendors, interactive activities for kids, photo opportunities with planes, awards, and much more!
